This is version 1.0 of Nizart's pico-painter.

This editor is made, to allow pixeling with the "secret" palette.

On the first tab, you can draw your sprite and choose your colour.

On the second tab, you can replace colours in your palette. Press X in this tab to switch between the two palettes you can choose from.

The third tab includes some settings.

It is completely possible to use Nizart's pico-painter without a mouse, but it makes it much easier.

This is a great start! Lots of good functionality. I wonder if there's a way to implement onion skin for animation frames. I love that you can grab and drag selections; that's such an improvement over Pico-8's built-in editor! A bit odd that when a selection is set, you can only draw outside of it. Most (all?) art apps work the opposite way.

I can't figure out what the number selector on the right side of the screen does. My first thought was layers (which would be amazing), but it doesn't seem to work that way.

the number is the animation speed. you can make an animation by right-clicking a frame

this thing is awesome :D
